dirigente da juventude do British National Party, director
publicitário do partido, um dos responsáveis pela sua revista
«Identity», e apoiante da saída da Grã-Bretanha da
UE. The Fall of Western Man retoma o tema do iminente colapso
do Ocidente europeu, numa argumentação clara e sensata, por vezes
circular e retro-alimentada para evidenciar a interligação dos
temas, em que cada um dos capítulos é um verdadeiro tratado de
análise sociológica.
Mark Collett
explica a queda do Ocidente europeu como um reflexo de um assalto
dirigido por aqueles que designa como «enemies of the West» a um
alvo puramente mental. Assim, torna-se necessário entender o
funcionamento da mente para entender como ela pode ser manipulada e
atacada. Daí a descrição da sua estrutura: em primeiro lugar o id,
subconsciente, ligado aos instintos e aos impulsos, regido pelo
princípio do prazer, exigindo satisfação imediata sem consideração
pela realidade ou pela lógica. Depois o ego, ou princípio da
realidade, moderador do id, procura o modo viável de satisfazer o
id, evitando a dor, as consequências negativas, ou colocar a
sobrevivência em risco, independentemente de qualquer avaliação
moral. Por fim, o superego, apreendido pela educação
paternal e comunitária, controla os impulsos do id através de um
enquadramento moral e social, funcionando em dois níveis separados:
a consciência e o ideal do ego. A consciência abarca
o sistema de valores e as normas sociais, levando à culpa ou
vergonha cada vez que o id reclama a transgressão destes limites;
quanto ao ideal do ego incorpora os modelos de referência que
desejamos emular, e dá uma imagem ideal do indivíduo que aspiramos
ser.
Demonstra depois
a importância de um forte superego, a forma como ele foi alcançado,
no seio da família nuclear como espaço formativo do indivíduo e
base da sociedade ocidental, e o seu papel decisivo na partilha e
transmissão de valores morais e da tradição, de pais a filhos,
unificador dessa mesma sociedade coesa e forte, uma fórmula de
sucesso que permitiu ao Ocidente europeu atingir os seus mais
notáveis feitos. A família nuclear, como espaço fulcral no
fornecimento de modelos de referência à criança e ao jovem,
através da figura maternal e bondosa da mãe, bem como da figura
disciplinadora e autoritária do pai, proporcionou como tal o reforço
do superego colectivo, que se traduziu nas virtudes do sacrifício
pessoal em prol do interesse comunitário, espelhadas no esforço, na
dedicação, e na ordem. O ataque ao Ocidente europeu teria de
passar, forçosamente, pelo ataque à família, dirigido precisamente
ao seu âmago mais profundo: a mente.
A chave residiu
na libertação do id e no enfraquecimento do superego, numa tarefa
paulatinamente levada a cabo durante algumas décadas, focada na
acção sobre as novas gerações, separando-as do seu passado e da
sua História, destruindo assim o futuro da civilização. A ruptura
deu-se em várias frentes simultâneas conjugadas nesse único
objectivo. Em primeiro lugar na promoção de famílias
monoparentais, desequilibrando assim o espaço formativo da criança
com a ausência de um dos modelos de referência. Depois na
destruição da rede de segurança que existiu no passado sob a forma
de barreiras e enquadramentos sociais que nunca deixavam a criança
desprotegida face a essa fatalidade: os líderes comunitários e as
figuras disciplinadoras ligadas à escola, à igreja ou à
autoridade, como origem de modelos de referência, foram
desacreditados. A seguir, pela substituição de modelos positivos
por modelos negativos, maioritariamente dados pelos media na
promoção de “celebridades” e afins, com a mesma mensagem de
sempre: o hedonismo e o prazer como prioridade, a supremacia do id –
o que teve como consequência o exacerbar do individualismo, e a
atomização do indivíduo.
Destaca-se também
o papel do feminismo nesta derrocada do Ocidente europeu, ao longo de
três capítulos que lhe são dedicados. Trata-se de um ataque à
mulher, menosprezando o seu lugar na sociedade, levando-a a emular os
atributos masculinos numa competição sem sentido, em busca de uma
falsa igualdade, uma competição de consequências nefastas na taxa
de natalidade e no desenvolvimento mental dos filhos, devido à
alteração do papel maternal no apoio ao crescimento e formação da
geração seguinte, ao mesmo tempo que induz a divisão e a
desconfiança entre os sexos. Ao estabelecer uma dicotomia em que
homens e mulheres são inimigos naturais, o feminismo visa a
destruição da unidade familiar, base da civilização ocidental. Os
filhos tornaram-se indesejados, vistos como um gasto de tempo e
dinheiro que sobrecarrega a mulher, uma barreira entre ela e os seus
objectivos materialistas. O feminismo visa não apenas atacar a
feminilidade e a maternidade, mas também o homem e o casamento,
proporcionando a quebra da natalidade como mais um meio de ataque ao
futuro do Ocidente, num momento em que uma emigração descontrolada,
e culturalmente agressiva, rapidamente desequilibra a balança
populacional e faz o resto do trabalho.
Estes são os
temas tratados na primeira metade do livro e, para não sobrecarregar
este texto, direi apenas que a segunda metade é ainda mais assertiva
no desmascarar dos processos infames movidos contra a nossa essência
civilizacional, embora nada do que é descrito seja propriamente
novidade para quem já conseguiu romper o muro da desinformação e
descodificar o marxismo cultural.

The
rise of the id is present before the collapse of any civilisation.
Every great nation or civilisation that has collapsed has embraced
the cult of individualism, and the individual has been increasingly
motivated by the pursuit of endless and immediate pleasure.
This
is of course exactly what the enemies of Western man have planned.
The enemies of the West understand the complex working of the human
mind and realise that to break a community and turn that community
into a group of disparate individuals all that needs to be done is to
convince those people to give in to their immediate desires.
Even
with immigration and multiculturalism, the enemies of the West knew
that Western man would still have a fighting chance of survival –
in fact better than a fighting chance. Even if Western man was
outnumbered by hostile cultures and peoples, as long as Western man
retained his own culture and sense of community he could always fight
back – and if history has taught us one thing, it is that Western
man would likely have prevailed.
It
was not merely enough to flood the Western world with different
groups of immigrants who viewed the West with envious eyes. The
enemies of the West knew that the Western community spirit – the
Western superego – must also be broken in order to ensure there
would be no fight back or resistance.
The
last thing Western man will see is the look of insane mirth upon the
faces of the Western revellers as Western civilisation, culture and
traditions collapse and are lost forever. Thousands of years of
heritage will be lost in a matter of decades as the last generations
of Western man compete in a desperate struggle to live for the moment
and satisfy their every primal need with no thought for the future or
the wider consequences their actions might have for the West.
The
enemies of the West know that the rise of the id precedes the fall of
Western man, and they sit rubbing their hands and biding their time
as the final days of the West rapidly approach.

The
death of the Western superego precedes the fall of Western man and
the destruction of Western civilisation itself. The period we are now
living in can be described as the end times for Western civilisation
and the next few generations of Western man will bear witness to the
death of the West. The conditions for a perfect storm are now in
place and in that storm the West will be washed away and consigned to
the history books – if indeed history books are ever written again
in the absence of Western man.
The death of the West will
not come about in one magnificent yet tragic final battle that
eclipses all others that have gone before it. The death of the West
will not occur in some 'race war' or in a series of great conflicts
where battle lines are clearly drawn and armies clash in a final epic
military engagement. The death of the West will be a creeping one –
like a cancer that eats away at an organism, slowly weakening the
suffering creature over a long period of time. The death of the West
will be akin to a death of a thousand cuts rather than one
significant blow.
Many have theorised that
eventually immigrants that have come to settle in the West and whose
communities have grown in size will one day turn on Western man –
that foreign communities will form a fifth column within the West and
initiate a great conflict on Western soil. This theory surmises a
racial or religious conflict on a grand scale between Western man and
those immigrants who have come to settle in the West yet retained a
culture that is hostile to that of Western culture.
This theory of a great war
is not only misguided, but is also highly damaging to the cause of
saving Western man. It relies on the idea that Western man is who he
once was and that he still has his mind, body, soul and heart intact.
The idea of a great racial or religious war – and one where Western
man would be victorious – is actually laughable. This war will
never take place, but instead the death of the West will take place
house by house, street by street, town by town and city by city, like
a creeping shroud falling over Western nations.
